Types of L1 Visas:

Blanket L-1 Visas are available to employers who hire large numbers of Intracompany Transferees every year. The application process is simplified; the applicant files a copy of the pre-approved blanket petition, along with supporting documents with the local U.S. consulate or embassy.
Change of Status
The L-1 visa may be used as a stepping stone to the Green Card. L-1 applicants will not be denied a visa based on their intent to immigrate to the United States.
